Founded in 1988, the mission of the Friendship Foundation is to raise funds to benefit the Glencroft community and its treasured residents. The Friendship Foundation provides benevolent assistance to residents, Glencroft program and project enhancements, leadership development for board members and staff, emergency benevolent assistance for employees, and transportation for residents to community and medical appointments.

Glencroft Senior Living is a dynamic faith-based, senior living community for up to 900 residents located in Glendale for the past 47 years.

Foundation Staff

Kaye Baker, Vice President of Development


Kaye came to Glencroft Senior Living in the spring of 2016 bringing with her extensive experience in media and fund development.  She is an Arizona native, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and public relations from Northern Arizona University.  Kaye previously worked for 10 years at the Area Agency on Aging as the Director of Fund Development and prior to that she worked with the Tim and Willy morning show on KNIX radio for 10 years and was the Executive Director of their foundation for 15 years.  She has received numerous awards for her career accomplishments and consistently adds abundant energy, creativity, dedication, experience and personal knowledge to her work.  Kaye loves to write and currently writes a weekly article for Pueblo Publishing recapping our “Successful Aging” radio show on KFNX.   Kaye has three children and resides in central Phoenix.




Dianne Baker, Grants Coordinator


Dianne joined the Friendship Foundation team in May 2017 as Development Coordinator. She is tasked with increasing the organization’s revenues sourced through local, national, and government grants. Her non-profit career has spanned over 16 years, and since 2011 she has served the sector as a grant writer and grants management specialist.


Prior to her move to Arizona, Dianne was the Regional Manager of Community and Resident Initiatives for Mercy Housing in Denver, Colorado and Phoenix. She managed a staff of 30 to provide comprehensive support programs for low-income individuals and families, at-risk youth, older adults, and people with special needs. She was also a lecturer and trainer, and an adjunct professor for the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Creativity in the School of Business at Metropolitan State College in Denver. She conducted entrepreneurship courses for the Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City which targeted non-profit organizations and their management teams; the Denver Chamber of Commerce for women and minority business owners; the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce & Denver Urban League for low-income at-risk teens; and for other community-based organizations.


Dianne is a published author and former equestrian.




Wendy Harrold, Development Coordinator


Wendy Harrold, Development Coordinator, came to Glencroft August 2017. Wendy helps to coordinate re-occurring events throughout the year. She is the point person for our donor database and she will collaborate with the team on Fund Development opportunities. Before coming to Glencroft, Wendy worked for Seattle Tacoma Box Company in Kent, Washington for 11 years as a Sales Coordinator/Customer Service Representative. Wendy relocated to Arizona from Washington in April 2017, so she could be closer to her family. She is currently living in Sun City. She has a son Daniel and a grandson Bennett.
